This Privacy Policy explains why and what personal information of yours we might collect, use, store, access and/or share when you use our services (“Services”), including when you visit our website at https://www.theblumandco.com/ or download and use our mobile application OLD BOYZ CLUB (“App”). By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Blum & Co., LLC reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us.

We do not collect or process government-issued identification numbers, such as Social Security numbers or driver's license numbers. If you use biometric authentication (such as Face ID or fingerprint recognition) to access the App, that data is processed locally by your device's operating system and is not collected, transmitted to, or stored by us.
If you use our App, we may also collect the mobile device data such as Access Point Name and device token. We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or certain features of the App. If you wish to opt out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device settings.

All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

We take reasonable and industry-standard measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. All data is stored on secure servers with access controls in place.
While we implement strong security practices, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data and encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
Direct messages between members are intended to be private. Blum & Co. staff do not routinely access private message content except where required to investigate a reported violation of our Terms of Service or where required by law.

We retain your personal information for as long as your membership remains active. If you cancel your membership or your account is terminated, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes or preventing fraud.
Content you have posted within the App may remain visible to other members after your account is closed unless you delete it prior to closing your account.

7. Children's Privacy
The OLD BOYZ CLUB App is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user under 18 has created an account, we will terminate that account and delete all associated data immediately.
8. Controls for Do-Not-Track features
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data bout your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy. California law requires us to let you know how we respond to web browser DNT signals. Because there currently is not an industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we do not respond to them at this time.

How to Exercise Your Rights

Request Verification
Upon receiving your request, we will need to verify your identity to determine you are the same person about whom we have information in our system. We will only use personal information provided in your request to verify your identity or authority to make the request. However, if we cannot verify your identity from the information already maintained by us, we may request that you provide additional information for the purposes of verifying your identity and for security or fraud-prevention purposes. If you submit the request through an authorized agent, we may need to collect additional information to verify your identity before processing your request and the agent will need to provide a written and signed permission from you to submit such request on your behalf.

California “Shine the Light” Law
California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine the Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. The OLD BOYZ CLUB App is a private Community. All posts, conversations, and content shared within the App are intended exclusively for members of the platform. Members agree not to share, reproduce, screenshot, or distribute any content from within the App to outside parties. This obligation applies both during and after membership.
Violations of member confidentiality are treated as a serious breach of our Terms of Service and may result in permanent termination of membership.
11. Disclosure Required by Law
We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid subpoena, court order, or government request. We may also disclose information where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of OLD BOYZ CLUB, our members, or the public.
